About us

Yorkcam is a personal digital photo diary of the 2000 year old city of York and my life here in Yorkshire. The aim of YorkCam is to bring photos of York and the places that I visit, to you, the viewer. What was originally just a site for my family and friends is for all to enjoy. The site now has an interactive map of York and the future plans are that there will be advertising from outlets. I also hope to have a "Sarah recommends" page for those who don't have very long to spend finding out the best bits of York

From the 20th August 2007 some of my unseen work will be for sale at selected outlets, cafes and pubs around York, these are signed and limited editions. With an on line shop arriving soon.

The Summer of 2008 has been a very busy time for me and the next few years hold to be very exciting as I return to full-time study at University here in York. This I hope will explain the reason for the gaps in photos this summer and the change to the photos on YorkCam. I hope to bring more of everyday life here in the North of England on the website and to produce a different kind of photo for retail. This as well as collecting photos for next years calender.
